Guest guest
Does anyone have Dr fricks email addy? I did have it but lost it! Also I'm wondering if anyone on this board has a child treated by Dr Frick with surgery? He has recommended posterior release for Grace. She has very tight achilles in one foot which has cause rockerbottom and tons of other probs. I am just curious if he would be a good choice to perform the surgery or would someone else? As far as surgery goes what is the least invasive? I will ask him if there is not a lease invasive choice but am just curious if anyone else has a child that required surgery after 3 years of age. We were diligent with wearing DBB and her forefoot is not relapsing whatsoever. Her heels never dropped and it is Dr Fricks feeling that is the cause of the rockerbottom. Isn't there another surgery that could just lengthen the achilles or is it too late for that? Mainly the right foot is affected by Dr Frick said I may want to go ahead and have both feet done. I will be asking Dr Frick all of these questions. He told me to mull it over and let him know when I wanted to schedule for surgery. I wanted to just get through Christmas and another appointment Grace had so I guess it is now time to schedule. I am very nervous because Grace has other issues that no one has been able to pinpoint or put a name to. I am so afraid that having the surgery may make the existign problems worse not better. I am very hopeful though that the tight achilles and rocker bottom are the causes of her problems and that maybe it is not too late for her to improve at least somewhat. Her right side is just extremely weak because she had one tenetomy performed WAY too early before he clubfoot was corrected and so then she needed a second one done less than 2 months later. Well sorry to ramble about all of my concerns. If anyone can think of any questions that I should ask Dr Frick feel free to let me know because I always forget to ask something! Also his email address is needed and any experience with him as a surgeon? Thanks so much, Feel free to email me at boothejennifer@... if you would rather. Guest guest
Hi , Dr. Frick's email is _steven.frick@..._ (mailto:steven.frick@...) I don't have any surgical experience with him (or any other ortho) but I do believe that he will do whatever he can to avoid surgery if possible. I completely trust him and his opinion. If Kaitlin had to have surgery, I would not hesitate to let him perform it on her. Good Luck, Freeman
