Guest guest
Phyllis, Hi! Yes, we have, and mostly still do the Feingold diet, and are definitely GFCF. Sorry I probably can't help with recipes though. My son is also corn, soy, egg, yeast, sugar, potato--well you get the picture--free. He eats a diet of " whole " foods only. Great if you can get your little one to accept this--this time with food prep., but I know that a lot of kids wouldn't tolerate this! LOL Just so you know, we saw many good changes after implementing the Feingold principals. Good luck!! Sorry I wasn't more help!! Eva Feingold and gfcf > Is there anyone out there that has been on the Feingold and gfcf diet. We are contemplating the stage one diet and are having trouble coming up with anything to eat. Any menu and/or recipe ideas?? > -Phyllis > > >
Guest guest
Hi: yes, i have just started stage one Feingold, plus my usual gfcf. Difficult, because my son loves salad stuff, tomatoes, cucs, plus all fruits. I have just decided to limit to chicken, beef, lettuce, some banana, potatos, oil for frying them, elimination of all salicylates. It has been one week for all this, and hard because Evan loves his sorbet at nite (cannot have, due to fruit, however, i will try a pear sorbet soon). I make juice with 3.4 water, l/4 pear juice from Trader Joe. Let me know how you progress,
Guest guest
Hi: i agree, i am doing all these with my son. Makes recipes difficult, the basics are best, i.e., chicken and rice, lettuce, water or rice milk. These kinds of meals, which are hard to pack for school. My first week of feingold (on top of gfcf) has resulted in some more irritability of, yes, removal of MORE foods, berries, tomatoes, cucs, sorbet. I think Evan is hungry a lot of the time, so i give him a lot of my home maid fries, plus chicken or beef patty. Very hard, i hope it works,
