Guest guest
, I have used a bipap machine for about 4 or more years. It really has helped me. I sleep deeper now (not waking up all the time), and I feel more rested in the morning. My pulmonologist had put me on it because of my PFT results showing muslce weakness. I hope this works out for you. Smiles, a On Fri, 06 May 2005 15:24:56 -0000 " lanebristow " lanebristow@...> writes: My pulmo doc is wanting to start me on a bipap machine to be used at night. I just did not expect this this soon. Does anyone else use one? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I have been having trouble breathing and a feeling of where I can not get a deep breath. It feels like the breath stops about 1/4 of the way down. From what I have read, alot of people with NMD use a bipap and I have documented muscle weakness on my pft's. Thanks to all of you!! Guest guest
, I started using a bi-pap machine at verylow settings in January. Ny pulmonologist felt it would give me a better rest and decrease my muscle cramping during the day. I honestly am still on a trial stage as we changed the mask to a nasal pillow mask last week. Always willing to try anything that will help. Martha
