Sue, Just thought I'd add one more bit of info. You can buy Taro Chips made

by Terra brand. The ingredients listed on the bag are: taro, canola and/or

sunflower oil, sea salt. They have a complete line of chips made from

potatoes and other root vegetables. They taste good too. Available at

health food stores.. Their website is www.terrachips.com .

How crunchy are the taro chips? I have tried the mixed chips and

there are a couple types in there that are very hard, and chewing them

made me think of a grinding stone....Is that the taro? I wish they

sold the parsnip chips separately -- I am addicted.

Toushoes, AKA ,

Sorry this is so late responding. The taro chips are white with purple

flecks. They are a bit chewy, similar to a thick potato chip.
