Guest guest
It's funny, my husband couldn't even stand the way it smelled, but I was crumbling it up today to use for bread crumbs. I gave my son a big hunk to crumble and he took off with it and ate it. He's been munching on the crumbs too!! Now if I can only lighten it up I think he'll love it!! Dawn Montiel Educational Consultant for Discovery Toys I've been making bread for years, but not gf/cf. I can tell you, however, that if your yeast foamed, you did that part right (the temp. of the liquid should be about that of baby formula -- not hot enough to burn, but warm to the wrist). A tip I've learned that works great for getting bread to rise is to soak a kitchen towel with water and microwave it for 1-2 minutes. Then put your dough in the microwave to rise -- it acts as a proof box and turns out perfect bread every time. Good Luck!

Guest guest
Do you put the wet towel on top of the bowl that the bread is in or is it just left in the microwave with it? I know it sounds stupid but someone has to ask it. MA
Guest guest
Our bread came out way to heavy. How do I get it lighter and more fluffy like normal white bread? Cheryl ( Mom to 11yr Aspergers and 6 yr apraxia, autism, and CAPD)
