Guest guest
Have you had it followed up by an orthopedic doctor? Maybe you could use a splint to keep it in a good position at night. Guest guest
I have pain that sounds something like that-in both upper arms. I tried just about everything from a non-steroidal standpoint-Ibuprofen, Aleve, Vioxx (before withdrawal), Celebrex, etc. Absolutely nothing touched it until my neurologist put me on Cymbalta. It is a relatively new drug that's approved for treatment of neuropathic pain and also depression, and it has done wonders. So, I guess what I'm saying is that my pain apparently was neuropathic. There are several drugs that can be used to treat neuropathic pain-maybe you should ask you neurologist if he thinks one would be good for you. I hate to be discouraging, but I doubt you'll find anything over the counter that helps. I didn't. shoulder/elbow pain Hi All For those of you with joint pain, what works to get rid of it? I've been having severe pain, it's not all the time, feels like the pain I had when I had sciatica during pregnancy, except it's in the funny bone area. Movement makes it happen more frequently but I had it during the night when I was trying to sleep too. In between waves there's no pain, which is what makes it similar to the sciatica. It's in both arms. Tylenol and motrin haven't touched it. Neuro appointment isn't until next Wednesday. Help!
