How is it different from a treadmill lung function test? Hi Kim, An exercise test is the same think as the treadmill lung function test, I think. They measured the VO2 max and oxygen consumption and distribution, among other things such as heart rate, BP, O2 sats, etc. My results showed a low VO2 max associated with oxygen consumption issues which can be seen in metabolic muscle disorders. I sure hope they have some answers for me, and not more tests.
