Guest guest
It sounds to me like it is time to learn to pace yourself and listen to your body - not when it starts failing, but at the most basic level. I know it is hard and a big step, but try using the store scooters. It gets easier each time, especially when you can go to the store and return home without new symptoms. I am stopping work, not because I couldn't push through each day, but because in doing so, I am not taking care of myself and new symptoms become not the occasional visitor, but a next of kin. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers. laurie > > Reply-To: > Date: Sat, 8 Jan 2005 16:59:47 -0800 (PST) > To: , Mitobelievers mitobelievers > > Subject: Bad Week (religious content > > Hey everyone, > > I have a pretty crummy week physically and I am asking you for your prayers. > My wife and I were at Wal-Mart earlier this week and I almost collapsed after > walking around for a half an hour and I have had a lot of problems walking or > being on my feet. Guest guest
I understand about bad weeks or months Are you against using the motorized scooters that Wal-Mart provides? Mito has compromised Duane's brain and when we went to Costco and he used a motorized scooter he ran into every one as I was running along side trying to hold him back and help him steer by the time I was done shopping I was exhausted and he had a great time and now wants one ( as you can guess there is NO WAY) I have a manual wheel chair that I push him in. I hope I made you laugh visualizing my shopping spree. Give your body a rest and use the scooter they are fun. I will definitely Pray Hugs Jan Bad Week (religious content > > Hey everyone, > > I have a pretty crummy week physically and I am asking you for your prayers. My wife and I were at Wal-Mart earlier this week and I almost collapsed after walking around for a half an hour and I have had a lot of problems walking or being on my feet. I fell to the floor for the first time tonight when my right leg gave out on me. On top of that my lower jaw has been quivering for about three weeks and I have been having trouble chewing things. I hope and pray that this is not a sign of things getting worse but I am not very confident. Whatever happens, it is in my savior's hands. But a little extra prayer is needed. > > Thanks, > > > > McCombs > 2 Cor 1:3-4 > >
