Guest guest
Yesterday we had a support group meeting and they had pizza there. I brought a homemade gfcf pizza for my boys, but after the kids and the adults that were taking care of them came back from the library my son grabbed one of the no no pizzas. I'm not sure if he ate any or not, but he is always sticking his fingers in his mouth so I know he got some. Well, today he has been so sick with diarrhea, pale, rocking more and starting back with the echo talk. Later on in the day he broke out with red splotchy rash from head to toe (like hives). I took him to the emergency room even though I knew they wouldn't know anything, but the doctor did say it was definitely from a food allergy. He said that it should clear up and to make sure he doesn't have access to those kind of foods again. Can just touching a no no food and maybe later he did put his finger in his mouth (he likes to pull on his lips and pull at his teeth and even chew on his own hands) make such a reaction like that? I'm so worried about him because he just doesn't look so good. He's been crying about his stomach hurting but the doctor said he would be alright.
