Hi,

We did ours 4 months into it, and gluten and casein IgG still registered for

an allergy, and gluten had a positive IgA reaction. I think I've heard on

this list that you need to ingest it within 3 months of the test. We have

had a few infractions, the last was probably about 2 months prior to the

test. It definitely helped to be able to show skeptics the test results, but

remember, even without an actual allergy, the opiate theory has to do with

intolerance which will not show up on an allergy test. This is at least how I

understand it.

Hope this helps ;-)

I would be more concerned about other foods that tend to be a problem for

our kids. You can do this type of testing for hundreds of foods and you

might discover that your child is sensitive to corn, soy, eggs, apples,

grapes, peanuts etc... like my child was. The Dr. would probably test

for gluten and casien at the same time. I found this testing to be a

very important part of knowing what to avoid in my child's diet. We

rotate the foods that he can have every 4 days to avoid developing

sensitivities to those.
