Guest guest
Hi my 5 1/2 yr old daughter has had seizures since she was 5 mos old. She is not autistic but has autistic traits, maybe PPD (no one will tell me). I read about this diet on a epilepsy list and had Randi tested for gluten/casein allergies. She has them plus a yeast overgrowth. We've been weaning her off of cheese/crackers etc the last few weeks. I think I have a plan for her and wanted to see what the " pros " on this list think. I trust your opinions more than doctors at this point. Randi has tried all kinds of seizure meds, the ketogenic diet, vagal nerve implant and brain surgery last summer with no luck. I'm going totally GFCF this week and adding Nystatin. I have also thought about adding Kirkman's Super Nu-Thera, Obijawa Tea, Epson Salt Baths, and the Obijawa Perfect stool in replacement of the Probiotic she's taking now. Is this too much to do at once or should I space each thing out before starting? I want so much for this to work. My family is tired and it seems like things keep getting worse instead of better! I've been watching this list a few weeks and you are all a great group! Thanks for any advice you can give! Sincerely, Rhonda - Randi's mom
