THANKS! No no no it is not allowed. Liquid buttermilk is pretty easy to substitute, use the same amount of something like reconstituted DariFree with the last Tbsp. per cup being lemon juice or gfcf vinegar (both acids.) For the powdered, it would be a bit trickier...powdered gfcf milk plus the acid, but you might have to adjust quantities. (Powdered milk is usually about 1/3 cup dry equals one cup reconstituted, but DariFree, for example, is two Tbsp. per cup.)
