Guest guest
Hi gang, Just got back xray info from Gillian's tummy and she " demonstrates the presence of large fecal residue throughout the colonic distribution " . Poor sweetie!! She's always had constipation issues. Our Dr here wants us to do 2 pediatric fleet enemas 45 minutes apart and then add senekot to her night routine. My questions are...suggestions on how to get a 2 1/2 year old to tolerate the enema? We thought a few towels on the floor, a blues clues video and a bottle of juice/water? Those who have done this how much of and explosion should I expect? (BTW she hasn't pooped in 3 days) and how quickly? My other question is, does senekot meet the GFCF, soy/yeast/cornF, feingold, etc requiremnets? I don't have a bottle in front of me to check. Sweet hubby is at the pharmacy now. Plus, the info from you all is faster and more reliable. I'm sure she'll feel soooooo much better once it's out of her (me too!) Thanks, as always. in Chicago, who's about to have a " poopy " afternoon! :~)
