Guest guest
None of my children were given vacs at birth, but my undxed Asperger son got all his shots except the Hep B, though we did run way behind on our schedule -- kind of deliberate tardiness. I have never allowed any of my children to get the Hep B vaccine. Hepatitis B is a disease found among IV drug users and prostitutes. When I asked my dr. why my children were at risk for this disease, he couldn't really tell me. Our babies are never allowed out of our sight at the hospital if they are born there, and I mean NEVER without one of us accompanying them. When my son was born last year I refused the Hep B in the hospital and I got read the riot act by the pediatrician who came to check out my baby before I could go home. When I got home, I fired this ped (she was the Primary Care Physician for all our children) and found a family practitioner who is also an herbalist. She is expecting a baby herself and admitted to me that she will not let one vacine touch her child until this child is at least 1 year old. She refuses to use the Chicken pox vaccine and the Lyme Disease vaccine (our 4yo had Lyme Disease last year). My youngest, who is now 10 months old, has never had an immunization and won't until he is at least 2 years old if ever. I am thinking about allowing one at a time starting with the Polio vaccine. This disease is debilitating and deadly and should not be allowed to rear its ugly head again. I will be doing extensive research before allowing any immunizations and my children are not getting any boosters. BTW, my oldest son went into the Navy Fall last year and received no less than 10 immunizations. He was sick with a cold when he went in and stayed very sick for the next 3 months. He is just now recovering and has developed mild asthma. I believe a serviceman received a dishonorable discharge after refusing to receive an immunization after the Gulf War. This is something we need to remember when our children are older and looking into careers. God bless, Michele in CT

I haven't dug out his shot record but I think I will tonight. I'm sure they gave it to him way early too. Guest guest
Hi , We are **just** gluten and casein free. He started the diet last July. Thanks for the congratulations. I honestly don't think Austin would have so much success with the diet without the knowledgeable people on this list.
