Guest guest
Get the regular PepcidAC tablets (not the chewables) and give one immediately. It does work! We usually have to more one a day for about 3 days (until infringment symptoms don't come back), but other kids only need it once. Alkaseltzer gold seems to be harder to find than regular alka seltzer. The gold version doesn't have the problem ingredient. > I am in a bit of a panic here so I cannot really remember what to do > in case of a diet infringement. Guest guest
When asked how I handled my son's infringements, I told our doctor (an allergist/immunologist) and the visiting DAN consultant that I used pepcidAC. No reaction from them; the DAN doctor knew that parents were using it and asked if I found it effective. > I read on the Pepcid AC box that they don't recommend you give it to a kid > under age 12 without doctor's advice. Anyone ever get input from their > pediatrician or DAN doctor about this?
