OT: Suspension from school

I wanted to comment on the converations about suspensions from school.

Regardless of what the child did and whether it was right or wrong,

IT WAS DONE IN HIS OWN HOME, outside of school. Disciplin e is the

parents' responsibility, not the school's. A similar situation

happened to my brother. He and some friends were walking down the

road in another town and a girl overheard something they said and

misunderstood and went to their school's principal and accused them of

sexual harrassment. They were suspended. Non of these boys even knew

who the girl was when they were called in. I think that the school's

need to keep their authority IN school, but stay out of situations

elsewhere.
