Holy smokes I had to convince the therapists to go along with the diet. You

are one step ahead of the game , as far as that is concerned. I've had

wonderful results with this diet, going on a year now . In fact it is more

that I would ever have imagined a year ago, so all I can say is give it your

best shot .

Amy, hi and welcome to the group. I am new to the group (about 2 1/2

Amy, Glad you are here and hope you have wonderful results with the diet.

Remember gluten free means wheat, oats, barley, rye --free. She is at a

great age to start the diet and make great progress. Best wishes, :)

(The diet has been one of the best things we could have ever done for our

son. Now his therapies are much more effective).

Quick intro.

> Hi, my name is Amy and I'm new to this list. I'm a SAHM of 3 kids,

, 3 1/2, Cristina, 2, and Dylan, 2 months. My husband is in the Army

and we live in SC.

half ago but she has been receiving speech therapy and special education

since last August when she was diagnosed with Global Developmental Delay.

We are planning on trying her on the GF/CF diet to see if it helps her. Her

therapists have been trying to get me to try it for months but I guess it

took getting the " official " Autism diagnosis to make me want to try the

diet. We have already had her off of dairy for a week and will probably

take her off of wheat as well in another week.
