I'll add to that, that a virus can also trigger seizures in susceptable

persons (as Elliot's pediatrician reminded me yesterday) as can eating

certain foods. Elliot has had three seizures in the last couple of weeks

which coincide with the onset and relapse of a virus, and his eating

deep-fried foods from restaurants. First seizures in a year...
