Both my sons are now casein free. I was wondering how

to implement the gluten free portion. I was wondering

if I should start substituting items one by one this

way it is not such a shock. I know this will take

longer but they will be eating this way pretty much

for the rest of their lives. I want to make sure it

becomes a habit.

Anyone do it this way?

I slowly removed the gluten from my son's diet over the course of 4 weeks.

I tried to offer more non gluten items and slowly weeded out things like

pretzels and subsituted the gluten free version. Replacing his bread was

the largest hurdle, but now he accepts it and turns his nose up at the old

stuff.

Hi, I eased my son into this diet- first the casein and then gradually

all gluten, plus once I thought I had it accomplished I realized about

hidden items. But now 10 months later I know I am 100% GFCF free, color

and preservative free plus my son is allergic to soy. Stick with this

site and you'll pick up some great recipes here too and learn alot. Good

luck !!!
