Takedown surgery

I had a 2nd consult with the local surgeon this morning. He had finally

recieved all the records and surgical notes from Cleveland Clinic. He is willing

and able to do my ileostomy reversal surgery. Unfortunately it's going to have

to be later than I would like. He is booked thru next Tues and then is going

to the Cayman Islands for a week. My surgery will be on Wed June 8th at

12:30 p.m.That doesn't sound like that long to most, but I've not had a good

experience with the ostomy from the start. Wish I knew something to make the

days pass quicker. My stoma is not cooperative and am still having leakage and

skin breakdown despite trying alot of different products and remedies. Thanks
