Guest guest
Cindy, I think the general concensus is to get my thyroid checked. I have an MD appoint next week will let you know. Others have suggested hormonal imbalance as well as Selinium ......sounds like a lot of blood work to me and prob a visit to an endocrinologist (one more Doc for my list) LOL Martha
Guest guest
Martha That is the downfall for me. I went 5 years without having to shave my legs. I guess we can't have everything. laurie > thanks for the input, it has been a sudden hair loss over the past 2-3 > weeks. > I am going to my internist next week, I am sure he will do some blood work > > and refer me. Guest guest
Martha, I haven't been following this thread too thoroughly but I was wondering if you've been checked for a thyroid deficiency. I have a thyroid issue and have lost hair several times in my life. My hair is so thin at times I feel bald and when I look in the mirror straight on I tell myself I look like a bald eagle. LOL Anyway, just a thought. Cindy

Guest guest
My endocrinologist always checks for axillary (armpit) hair loss, as it seems to be indicative of endocrine issues. I'd mention it to a doctor if you get a chance, preferably an endocrinologist... Although I don't know if I'd complain if I lost all of my hair except that on my head Take care, RH > Here's my PS on hair loss. I've lost almost all the hair on my body except > on my head!
