Guest guest
I went surfing as all naughty patients do... I had to have loads of tests, an MRA/DMSA/MAG3/KUB (just copied that lot from my file)24 hour urine things potassium sodium etc, specialist protein analysis sent to a reasearch lab.,serum uric acid and citrate plus an erythropoietin level and a early morning spot urine for pH, osmolality creatine and citrate..and I don't understand a word of it.. All I know is that they found problems which they monitor...Don't forget Kim I am in the UK where maybe testing for mito. involvement may be different.. Guest guest
I guess I got it reversed, both lactitol and lactulose are non- prescription in Europe I guess. They are both used mostly as laxatives, but also " scrub " ammonia from the blood. Take care, RH > > > > > > > > Things just keep popping up... > > > > I found out that my blood ammonia level has been consistently > in > > > the > > > > 80's.
