Guest guest
I just joined this list because I recently started my son (DX PDD) on a GFCF (plus other foods-free) diet. One of his biggest reinforcers is gummy candy. We used the gummy candy that comes in all shapes (POKEMON, Scooby doo...). We were using this candy at school only for activities and behaviors we had the most difficulty with. I NEED TO REPLACE THIS CANDY ASAP. I have looked and looked and tried and tried different things and the only alternative Diego has liked are the Yummie Bears (with vitamins A,C and E added) from Hero Nutrition. My questions are: -Does anyone know how much Vitamin A (for a 7-year old weighing 45 pounds), C and E can be toxic or bad for you in any way (4 bears have 25000 IU, 60 mg and 15 IU, respectively, of each)? -Does anyone know of any other gummy alternatives? We've tried froot rolls, banana chips, chocolate pieces, and many other snacks, but nothing has been able to replace the gummy candy he loved so much, except for these Yummi thingies, except that he can only have four a day (accoridng to the package). Thanks infinitely for any advice, la _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com
