A few other details that may be helpful that I forgot to mention in my first

response: it may say " pareve " or " parve " (which is the same thing) next to the

symbol. This means that it has absolutely no dairy (or meat) derivatives. If

there is any dairy, there will always be a " D " or " De " , so a plain symbol

without the D's also means that it is parve. HOpe this helps. The symbols I

mentioned earlier, by themselves or with Parve next to it guarantee that the

product has no dairy.
