Guest guest
Hi all: I thought maybe I could mine this vast knowledge pool for some answers on this yeast thing... We are treating my son for yeast in the traditional ways...Nystatin, low sugar/yeast diet, culturelle supplements. I have always felt this was the root of my son's problem and that various vaccine and anitbiotic assaults pushed him over the edge, so to speak. I do believe that once we have this biological problem under control, the rest will follow. That is not to say we aren't doing 12 hours per week of therapy with him, etc. Now for the questions...has anyone ever really healed a leaky gut? How long would this yeast battle take to resolve or is it now a life long fight? My twins came home from the hospital loaded with yeast...I just didn't know that had it because he didn't present with thrush like his brother...just a nasty burn on his groin from his urine that our dear doctor told us was just a " Ph " problem that would go away. ::sigh:: Any help that anyone can send my way regarding yeast would be most appreciated. Thanks, M
