Guest guest
Hi All, At our last visit, Dr. Ponseti said he wanted Devlin to wear shoes for about 6 hours a day as she's standing, cruising, etc. and will start walking anytime soon (we hope). I was wondering if any of you have found good sources for shoes for our babies. I don't know if this is true for all CF babies, but Devlin's feet are very short and chubby/wide. We bought a pair of shoes for her at the Stride Right store in Iowa City---the saleswoman had twins with CF and sees Dr. Dietz! However, they are pretty expensive there and I'm really having trouble getting the shoes on her. Have any of you had luck elsewhere? Devlin's feet are pretty much the same size so at least I don't have that problem to deal with (like I know so many of the unilateral parents do)... Thanks, Mommy to Devlin, 1/7/04 Bilateral Atypical CF
