We ate a couple of times at the pricey but very nice Blue Bayou in the New Orleans Square area of Disneyland. You definitely need reservations, and tell them when you make the reservations that you are on the GFCF diet. They even had us pick the entrees hours early. They made a very generous fruit salad, three plates for my three kids. They have a vegan mashed potato, and my boys ate the prime rib while my daughter had chicken, but all with mashed potato. They had herb tea (apple?) with lots of sugar for desert, although the non-alcoholic mint julep might work for that, I don't remember now, When our pediatrician was writing the note for the handicap pass, I had him put on it that my kids were on the diet. I figured, if anyone questions the food we brought into the Park, I would show them that. We ate sandwiches on gfcf bread for another meal while waiting for a parade. No one asked us about it, though. Lorilyn
Guest guest
We love Disney world, but have only been there once with our son, before his diagnosis. What is a handicap pass and how did you get one? Can you get them for autistic spectrum children?
