Hi,

Thank you Laurie, , and RH, etc. for your thoughts and suggestions about

my left shoulder and arm pain

Well, I had an appt. with my MDA Neuro on Monday and thought I would bring up

that my shoulder has been bothering me for the last month and a half. I know she

isn't an Orthopedic Doc, but I told her anyway.

She asked me a few questions, examined my arm and shoulder and then said " I

think it is your Rotator Cuff " I was pretty sure it was my rotator cuff from

the beginning. She gave me a script for an MRI of my left shoulder.

I called the hospital and my appt. for my MRI is next week. I will let you know

what they say. She also told me to see an Orthopedic Doctor for an evaluation.

Hugs,

Ann-Marie

Sounds like you are on the road to finding out what it is, it would

be good to make an appointment with an orthopedic doctor before you

go for the MRI (schedule the appointment *after* the MRI of course!),

and tell the MRI staff that you need a copy of the films to take to

your doctor.

It will save you a lot of trouble to get a copy of the films right

away. If they won't let you do that, ask them to make a note on your

chart to call you when you can pick up a copy of the films.

Try to find a shoulder specialist if you can - good luck!

Take care,

RH
