Guest guest
Hello listmates, A few people have asked me to post this recipe to the list. It's from Miss Roben's catalogue - page 19 of the Winter/Spring 2001 catalogue. The original recipe states that it's from Jonni McCoy's 'Ask Miserly moms: Special Food Questions' and adapted by Angie and JJ Cupples, of GFCFkids. 1 package Miss Roben's Yellow Cake Mix 1 1/2 cups Poha flakes 3/4 cup melted butter or acceptable substitute 12 oz. jam or other filling 1 tbsp. water 1/2 cup milk/substitute Preheat oven to 375 and place rack in center of oven. Mix dry cake mix, Poha flakes, melted butter and milk/substitute in a stand-up mixer. Press half of the batter mixture into a 9x13 greased pan. Mix jam with water and spread over batter in pan. Add the remaining batter on top and bake for 20 minutes at 375. Cool completely before cutting and serving. Good luck everyone, Penny
