Guest guest
Hi Margaret, Mercury is/was in the DPT (got to read the insert), but not the MMR, altho it has heaps of strange things in it, too. The MMR problem seems to be with 1) prior damage from other vax lays the ground work for bigger problems with the MMR and 2) the combination of viruses in the MMR. Hair testing is somewhat in dispute, as is interpretation of the results. Pop over to autism-mercury and read the files regarding the " counting rules " for interpreting the test results. Another way to test for mercury is a chelation challenge - the person takes DMSA for several days, then a urinalysis is done to see what metals are being pulled out. Mercury seems to be more difficult to chelate, so often the initial results are in the " normal " range, while other metals, such as lead, show up in high amounts. IMHO it is worth tracking down a DAN doctor or a doctor trained in occupational & environmental medicine or toxicology. > > > I have never in my life received an MMR shot. He is also of the opinion that " doctors are Gods " and is pushing > me to have the MMR booster done in May. I want her titers checked, first.
