Guest guest
Hi, My child's RAST tst was also negative for all tested foods, including wheat & dairy. However, the ELISA food panel, which looks at a different type of reaction, showed many positives to a number of foods - off the charts for wheat in particular. I based our elimination foods and rotation foods on that test. However, many listmates have found that even ELISA negative foods can cause problems. This seems to be particularly true of soy and corn, the proteins of which are similar to gluten and casein at a molecular level. And then there are the yeast feeding foods and the high- phenol foods and additives that drive some kids nuts....and on it goes. Many parents have reported that they need to eliminate or water down juices because of diarrhea. And in general, reducing yeast feeding foods is a good thing to do. Good luck on your search. - In GFCFKids@y..., BJBlackler@a... wrote: > Hi friends, > > Last week we got our son's RAST blood test results back, apparently > he is not allergic to anything, which surprised us.
