Ok wow, just after getting Jay ontrack these last

couple of days- about 2hours after a dentist

appointment his sister appeared to have a seziure

(first ever) we had to go to ER, in the middle of ER

a place he's comfortable- he starts screaching-

throwing rice cakes and refuses to allow me to go in

with even though he's watching a show on the TV

and I'm only on the other side of the door- after they

release her, saying its only a sinus infection- I

don't but the diagnisis- she had a burtst of Energy in

her body- started shaking for '10' minutes, then her

righ hand was swollen, the joints hurt, she had a

wicked head ache and 2 hours latter her head was still

spinning. She had insomnia last night. To day, before

taking any antibiotics, she now has diarreah- after

in ER in car on way to the store ofr antibiotics hes

stillbarely able to cotrol his screaching, while I

have to send in his sister to get her own

prescriptions, we drive around cause hes poking the

apholstry- I tell him roll the window down and scream

out window- he loves that! Weve never done that

before. Usually he screams in her ear when he's that

bad and he has hurt her ear to the point it rang for

three days. So now I wished I'd read the posts about

the the dentist stuff- though I quizzed the dental

tech - they assured me the floride stuff was fine.

Were they right? Was it the wrigly sugar free? He

didnt have a reaction to that gum the first time he

chewed it but he said Mom there flour on this gum- I

said No No all wrigley gum is OK Jay. Now I dont kn ow

Either of these events spin my son right out. I think the odors &

vapors at the dentist's are bad news for ultra-sensitive kids, let

alone the stuff that gets put in their mouths. I'll leave the

flouride issue to other listmates - who I trust more than the mercury

pushing dentists, anyway.

Doesn't sugar-free gum have aspartame? That stuff is toxic and makes

my son very hyper. This reaction grows stronger the longer he is on

a clean diet. I'm talking climbing-the-walls-yacking-non-stop-

attention-span-of-a-slug-hyper.
