Now I dont kn ow " Either of these events spin my son right out. I think the odors & vapors at the dentist's are bad news for ultra-sensitive kids, let alone the stuff that gets put in their mouths. I'll leave the flouride issue to other listmates - who I trust more than the mercury pushing dentists, anyway. Doesn't sugar-free gum have aspartame? That stuff is toxic and makes my son very hyper. This reaction grows stronger the longer he is on a clean diet. I'm talking climbing-the-walls-yacking-non-stop- attention-span-of-a-slug-hyper.
