Guest guest
The more I read, the more questions I have. 1. Am I the only one who cant even make Noah bread come out? 2. What is the difference between celiac and just a wheat allergy? My son is allergic to wheat according to the blood work that was done. 3. We are very lucky to live in Louisian home of Dr. Holmes and Dr. Cave, (this is probablly one of the only good things about it when it comes to special kids). We have seen Dr. Cave and really like her, unfortunetly our budget cannot handle seeing her to often. My five year old son is not on the austistic spectrum, but has oral motor and verbal apraxia. His heavy metal levels were high in Aluminum, boron, arsenic, tin, and antimony. His mercury levels were ok. The question is to chelete or not to chelete? Any answers? What would this do for us? 4. I need more ideas for snack food. He does not like much of anything I give him. Fruit is not a favorite, I cant make any decent bread, and he has an adversion to even the smell of peanut butter or nuts. He eats small amount of chips, and popcorn. Everytime I find something I think he will eat, it ends up being a no no. Please, I am desperate and I dont have a clue. Cammie cammiercater@... Guest guest
> >>I need more ideas for snack food.>>> snack ideas: does he eat carrots? How about Imagine puddings--my son likes the chocolate one only. How about baking chocolate chip cookies? The recipe in ' book is good. Since he likes chips--try the Terra chips (double check the gfcf site; I think it's still ok); there are also terra stix (my son didn't like these, but some kids do); muffins make a good snack--banana, zucchini, etc. or can be made plain. You might try soy yogurts; raisins (in the tiny boxes) if yeast is not a concern; That's all I can think of now. Just keep trying! >>. Am I the only one who cant even make Noah bread come out? As for Noah's bread--the first time I made it it was gross. I used EdenBlend for the milk sub (which is what my son drinks). The next time I used Pacific Rice milk----much better. Also, I think using sparkling mineral water works better than the other kind of sparkling water. Hope that helps. M. > > >
