One wonderful thing about this site is we realize we're not alone. I'm

sure there are hundreds of tired mommies for every one of us who admits

we are.

I found out about GABA through Kirkman Labs

http://www.kirkmanlabs.com/products/articles/GABA.htm

The following info about GABA is from that site:

" Kirkman’s HypoAllergenic GABA Plus Ingredients:

Each capsule contains

GABA 150 mg.

Niacinamide 10 mg.

Inositol 10 mg.

NOTE: Kirkman's HypoAllergenic GABA Plus does not contain any wheat,

corn, yeast, sucrose, starch or artificial colors. "

From information at that site it appears even a young child can use up to

8 capsules a day. I'm like you... cautious and try to find out more

about things before considering giving them to my child. I tend to start

out with smaller dosages than recommended too. But at Autism Oasis 2000

last November Dr. Bernard Rimland shared how Kirkman Labs has been

working with him and ARI since either the 50's or 60's to produce

supplements which autism researchers have found helpful for autism so I

have felt more comfortable trying things Kirkman's has available than

some other sources of information.

I think if you were to email them they would be glad to answer your

questions.

Wishing you and all the other tired mommies a full night's rest ---

sooon!!!
