Guest guest
Hi all, I'm brand spanking new. I've been reading the list now for over a week. I'm trying not to feel completly overwhelmed. I live in Alaska on a very remote island and will have to shop on line for most gfcf items. I bought some bread kits to try out and I made my first gluten free brick!! Ha ha. I also, thankfully, made my first nice, white, soft, bread and was thankful - it made terrific toast and passed the 6 year old inspector. I think he will adjust quite well, I just need to remove more of his favorites crackers and replace with new things. I'm having trouble finding a syrup for my gf pancakes. Pure maple syrup is wonderful for me but my son pushes it away, corn syrup must not look right to him either. Any suggestions for a gfcf brown version? I bought a product called " Chreese " as a sub for the box type of mac and cheese. It's too mustard-y, and not even close to something my kid would eat. He doesn't seem to mind the brown rice elbows..... just need a cf " cheesey-er " sauce. Thanks much, Jen
