won't pull-up without brace

Hi,

My DS pulled-up and stood prior to casting, during casting and with

his braces on. However, when we take the braces off for 1 hour in

the evening, he will not pull-up to stand. We will put him on his

feet and he'll stand for a minute then sit down. He doesn't act

like he's in pain. I was just curious if this is normal???
