Guest guest Posted February 12, 2001 Report Share Posted February 12, 2001 When I asked our ped about injecting antibiotics instead, he said that he believed that injecting them was just as hard on their intestines as the oral antibiotics, and that he would never do the injections in his office because of the risk of anaphylactic shock. I no longer take everything my doctors say at face value--I try to double and triple check everything out, but I just wanted to let everyone know what his warnings were.
