It's ALL the mercury in the mom's system, including all amalgams,

vaccinations, fish, after the amalgams have been removed, and before. As I

understand it, mercury crosses the placenta and is in breastmilk, in fairly

high concentrations (about 4 times the mom's general body load, as I

recall). It does cause damage until chelated. If it was me, I'd get all

amalgams removed, eliminate fish entirely, and chelate for a year, before

getting pregnant again. I'm currently waiting for my little one to wean

before I get my mouthful of mercury removed and start cleaning house

(getting them removed while still breastfeeding would stir up and increase

the current levels).
