Guest guest
* Hi all, I bought a calcium supplement for LJ since he takes nothing but a chewable multivitamin and realized he should have some extra calcium as I am not going to give him other supps. I just bought ANIMAL PARADE calcium supplement and the ingredients state: calcium, magnesium, fructose, stearic acid, Cal source (....spinich..brocoli) fig concentrate, date concentrate, silica and natural vanilla. OK, it says free from artificial colors and preservatives. Free from yeast, wheat, corn, soy and milk. I called the company to check to make sure on the GFCF status and was assured that it is GFCF and just as an added assurance I asked about rice since my son has a rice allergy, but I was sure there was no rice in it cause I read the ingredients. BUT, yes it HAS RICE. She said to make the calcium aminoate complex and the magnesium aminoate complex they must use rice. So now I will call every company regardless of what the ingredients state........anyway, just wanted to share.
