Guest guest
Randee, Here is the recipe- enjoy !!!!!!!! For hot dogs I only buy Applegate Farms brand that I buy at a HFS. $3.39 is the cost for a pack of 8. They are GF/CF, no artificial colors or preservatives, no hidden ingredients. ALL their products from Applegate farms are GF/CF. They have coldcuts, sausages, hot dogs, etc. Now for the recipe- boil 1 1/4 cups of water with 1/4 teaspoon salt in it stir in 1 cup corn meal and remove from heat immediately when its all stirred in let cool enough to the touch and then try to flatten a blob of it out in your hand and wrap around hot dog. It helps if you keep your hands wet or wet the outside of the blob you sre trying to flatten. Try to roll it back and forth in your hand as you're applying pressure to the hot dog to rty and seal it all up. Make sure you seal it all around. It takes practice, but before you know it you'll be a pro at it, and your little one will love them. Once you have them made just fry them up in enough oil to cover them. Their dogs are precooked so you're really just frying them to make the corn dog a light golden yellow color. They have beef, turkey, and chicken dogs. I was always a beef eater, but for some reason I seem to buy only the chicken ones and once in awhile the turkey ones. Their sliced roasted turkey is great for sandwiches also. Alot of deli turkey actually has milk in it and was sliced on machines previously sliced with NO products, so Applegate is the way to go for me. on Long Island New York * ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO!
