Guest guest
I need help implementing Bette Hagman's GF flour mix. I see the formula is: 2 parts rice flour 2/3 part potato starch flour 1/3 part tapioca flour My problem is figuring out what the ratios are for one cup. Also, it seems to me it would be easier to combine the three flours in bulk (with appropriate ratios) and store them so that they are ready to use when you need them. Is this the way the formula/recipe is intended to be? Forgive my brain for not getting a handle on this. Still lots more stress going on with my Mom in hospital as her condition worsens and options are few. Thanks for any help. ('s Mom)

Guest guest
the formula is written that you can use whatever amt you need by using ratios instead of actual amts. So if you have 3 cups of mix, 2 cups would be white rice, 2/3 cup would be potato starch, and 1/3 cup would be tapioca starch. Mix well before using and then use whatever amt you need. Don't forget to add xanthan or guar. Jay conversions help needed badly!! I need help implementing Bette Hagman's GF flour mix.
