Bethanechol - How long have you kept your child on thisRx?

I'm using Bethanencol, 5mg daily, for my 7 year old. He's been on it

for 2 months and I have to say what a difference in the size of his

pupils and for a child that tested " at risk " in math, he's gone to

the top of the class. My question is, how long should he stay on

this medication and how do I convince my doctor?
