Hi Rhonda,

you have been on the gfcf for six months, are you

sure that their are no hidden infractions, when we

started I thought I had it covered but even now after

a year, I am discovering things that I didn't realize,

or teachers are often accidently giving him things he

shouldn't have. I knew by day 4 that this was the

diet miricle for us and all that meet my son are awed,

many doen't recognize him because the opiates were

also stunting his growth, besides his verbal

recognition of remembering how to play and learning

suddenly to read and write he has grown from an 8 slim

to a 14 plus in a year, not just the waist but in

height! I found pictures recently and he looks like

he was starving to death. And he smiles, makes eye

contact and friends. I have read it takes up to a

year to notice results, if you don't see them

instantly, but many seem them with in the first couple

of days.

Last week his teachers offered him rice crispies good

heartedly thinking they were helpfully following his

diet not knowing that malt was milk, and other common

ones like some vinegars, soy sauce, natural flavoring

spices carmel, food starch, I just learned recently

that some vegetable oils and tuna fish might be bad,

there is so much to keep up with, also I just learned

that Rice dream (sp?) milk was processed with wheat

and who would think to look for milk in canned

tomatos!(natural flaroring)
