Guest guest
Thanks Barbara- I'm hoping the same thing as I don't want my previous surgeon to lay a hand on me again after all that went wrong. So far I haven't caught any vibes that using someone else is going to be a prob. The prob may be that they don't do these type of reversals in my small town. I'll keep you posted. Guest guest
I'm so glad you finally made it home. It must feel like crawling into a familiar comfortable cave. I hope you can have your surgery locally. You have been away from home so much. I am thrilled that you are eating and enjoying it. Guest guest
, Just wanted to say welcome home and that I hope your appt with the local surgeon works out. We had a similar situation with my j-tube on follow-up and were able to find a local surgeon who was willing to step in and help. Initially, my PCP told me that there is an unwritten rule among surgeons that they don't do follow-up on another surgeon's work except in emergencies. But we found one who was willing to do the exceptional and it has been a real blessing. This same surgeon was called in to help on my kidney stone situation, though he didn't do the surgery, but did offer invaluable guidance for the others. May your surgeon be of the same tribe! Guest guest
Great for you to be back home and good labs too! Ostomies aren't too much fun, hope they figure out the best solution for you... Here's a funny - my brother worked for Becton-Dickinson, and he was walking down the hallway and saw some marketing guys. They were like " Hey, want to be in a commercial? " and my brother was like " Sure, what's it for? " Long story short, they have a non- surgical variety of an ostomy, that is a fecal containment device (FCD) (right off the back lol) and they said he'd have to shave for the commercial (not his face!) and he ran away! Take care, RH > Dear Friends, > > How do I even begin to express my gratitude to all of you. Thank you > from the bottom of my heart for the nice gifts that were sent to me. Guest guest
, It is so nice to see you back on line again. I am so glad you are back home, but wish you didn't have to go through another surgery. Hopefully you can have it near home and you will be in and out in short order. Take care and know that we are praying for you, Kathy, grandma to Audrey, 3 years LILQT4U1984@... wrote: Dear Friends, How do I even begin to express my gratitude to all of you.
