Should we stop Amoxicillan

We started giving my son Hunter (3) Augmentin chewables Thurs. evening

for two ear infections that didn't go away with a shot of antibiotics. He

started getting horrible black bowel movements that are like acid yesterday

with a lot of gas and he's very fussy. If it stays in contact with his skin

for even a minute it blisters. We are giving him Nystatin too but have never

had a problem with rashes before when using it. Should we stop the antibiotic

and try a different one or keep giving him it for the next 6 days and deal

with the rash? I know a lot of you have a lot of experience with this.

Hunter's only ever been on antibiotics once when he was 18 mos. He is taking

2 caps of Pro-Culture Gold also. Thanks for any advice.
