Guest guest
Hi : NAET is an accupressure technique that helps the body's energy system cope with all kinds of sensitivities. The price will vary for each practioner. Mine charges $45 per session. As far as insurance paying for the procedure, that will depend on the person you're using and your own insurance company. I haven't bothered to try getting reimbursed by my insurance company. The procedure takes about 45 minutes - 1 hour - again depends on who's doing this. The guy I use does a simplified technique because my son wouldn't be able to sit still for the more involved process of going around the body and hitting so many energy points. I also wanted the practioner to just deal with my son's food sensitivities, but it doesn't quite work that way. What's supposed to happen is that they deal with whole food groups like the egg group, and the Vitamin C group and certain grain groups - there is a top 10 group of food items that supposedly need to be dealt with before going on to the several other lesser food groups. The foods are grouped in a way that I don't really understand - seems to be mostly by vitamin content or some other kind of family typing. I don't know that anyone can guarantee that it will work, but I've liked the results so far. We did the egg group and then I begged him to help me with one of the groups in which apples were an item (this was out of order) and now we'll do the Vitamin C group. I hoping this will help with a whole host of sensitivities that my son has. Hope this helps you in your decision making.
