Guest guest
Hi ! Thanks for writing! It's so encouraging to hear good news about your child! The way you describe your child is similar to mine. He has PDD/mild autism with definite problems as the ones you describe: little empathy, sensory issues, and so forth, and what concerns me the most is my son's constant stimming. (spinning, finger and hand flapping, snapping, and clapping literally hundreds of times a day!) We've also been on the diet for just a month. We're working with a nutritionist who is a DAN! Protocol practictioner, and he's on the GF CF EF SF diet according to the results from the bloodwork. BUT WE STILL HAVEN'T SEEN ANY CHANGES!! Just wondering if age has anything to do with it. How old is your child? Mine's 12 and I feel awful that I didn't know about any of this any sooner. He was on antibiotics for three and a half years from the time he was three weeks old, so I'm assuming this may be what resulted in the autistic behavior. Again, thanks for the encouragement. I guess we'll just hang in there and wait and see! Ana De Ovando
