Guest guest
I have better things to do than volunteer my time to a group who's superior members treat my son like an idiot. ,,, , I am sooooooo disgusted to hear this. I am a scout leader and our pack has never been anything but supportive to my son. If he is afraid to go up and get an award, they give it to his brother, or me to hand to him. Not one child has ever said a harsh word or even stares when he use to scream. I believe partly because of the self esteem and awards they earn in scouts my son is becoming braver. He went to Tiger winter adventure at scout camp last week and did great and had a ball and plans to go to summer camp. I am also a leader of my older son (WOLF)! I have been trained and told that all boys can join regardless of their issues and they must and will work around it. I feel so sorry for you. I did not read the original post, I don't know which one it was, but I am sorry for you. Perhaps a different pack would do your son better and YOU! Come to Londonderry, NH and we will treat you right and help your son grow with who he is. Please do not give scouting a bad name because of your bad Pack. I beg you! It has done so much for both of my boys and my older nephew going into Boy Scouts this month. God Bless, " Laurie Renke
