Guest guest
Re: rice proteinI'm not sure if this product would work for a gfcf diet or not due to the enzymes. The response was honest but unconclusive. I guess this won't be my first choice of powders..... alice Fw: rice protein rice protein Your product is listed as dairy free and wheat free, but I need to know if it is gluten free. It appears it could be, but I am wondering what the enzymes are cultured in. I have had a problem with rice milks before whose enzymes are cultured in barley. My son is on a strict gluten free/casein free diet and I am hoping your product will be appropriate for him. Thank you Alice Roman billroman@... Guest guest
Hi Alice, Nutribiotic Rice Powder was discussed recently in the ANDI newsletter. One of the nutritionists who had recommended it had it indepentdently tested and the lab found no gluten in it. I just got some and the taste is good and my son does not seem to be reacting to it, although he has reacted to other products which have used a barley enzyme (All-One vitamin for example) So it you don't find anything else, it is probably worth a try.
